Legal Framework
OHS Act 85 of 1993
All Infrafuels operations are conducted in full compliance with the South African Occupational Health and Safety Act, No. 85 of 1993, and its regulations.
This means every site has a designated safety officer, every hazard is assessed before work begins, and all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and enforced at no compromise.
We maintain complete HSSE documentation for every project — risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks, and incident registers — so you have full visibility and audit-readiness at all times.

Management Leadership, Commitment and Accountability
Safety leadership starts at the top. Every manager and supervisor is personally accountable for the safety performance of their team.
Risk Assessment and Management
All hazards are identified and risks assessed before work begins. Mitigations are in place before any technician sets foot on site.
Legal Requirements and Standards
We comply with all applicable legislation, regulations, and industry standards including OHS Act 85 of 1993.
Communications, Participation and Consultation

Safety Induction
Mandatory site-specific and general HSSE induction for all personnel before starting work.
First Aid
Certified first aid training to HPCSA standards across our field teams.
Work at Height
Full Working at Height certification for all personnel conducting elevated tasks.
Fire Fighting
Fire awareness and suppression training covering petroleum-environment fire risks.
Permit to Work
Rigorous Permit to Work system for all high-risk activities including hot work and confined space entry.
Gas Testing
Certified gas testing competency for all confined space and underground tank operations.
